Certified Planner (AICP) Course
Introduction:
The American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) offers the sole nationwide and independent validation of planners' qualifications. By obtaining AICP certification, planners commit to upholding rigorous standards of practice, ethics, and professional conduct. This nationally recognized certification serves as evidence for employers and peers that AICP members possess the necessary academic qualifications, relevant work experience, and proficiency in essential skills to effectively serve their communities.
Additionally, from 2013 to 2018, AICP members had the opportunity to pursue Advanced Specialty Certifications (ASC) in specific areas such as environmental planning (CEP), transportation planning (CTP), or urban design (CU). These specialized certifications allowed AICP members to demonstrate their expertise and specialization in these respective fields.
