Introduction:
The course commences by providing a fundamental introduction to food safety, encompassing universally practiced principles of food handling and food hygiene. Equipped with this foundational knowledge, participants are then prepared to delve into the study of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) during the afternoon session.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this training, delegates will be able to:
- Explain food safety risks from GMP
- Demonstrate knowledge of each GMP component and their impact on food safety
- Be able to review existing work place GMPs and amend them accordingly, if required
